The Lord has done great things for us, |
I'm 59 years old. I've been married to my hubby for ... WOW! 30 years! I'm Mom to 4 great kids - 2 girls, 2 boys - and one granddaughter, now 12, and a grandson who is 5! I am a firm believer that Jesus Christ is my Savior, and I struggle daily to be the woman He wants me to be.

We are forecast for 12-24 inches of freshly fallen white flakes between now and Sunday morning... yippee. Y'all know how much I like snow... However... if I HAVE to have snow - I have said it before... Make it LOTS! I went out today and bought boots! I'm ready! LOL!

Wow.. Melli, all of that snow will be a delight to see, but not to drive in..I hope you have all of your food items in the house..new boots ... good for you!!

OMG! My friends who live near you have *just* left for a drive to Walt Disney World, and won't be back until Wednesday. LOL I think she'll be thrilled to hear she's missed driving in a foot or two of snow! YIKES!

We are between storms at the morning but there are piles of snow everywhere. I hope you get what you want.

I saw it it on the weather this evening!! Oh Melli....I'm so envious and happy for you! What fun! You've been living right, girl! *hugs and then we make snow angels* I'd LOVE to have snow! as if you couldn't tell :D
If that happened in Texas there wouldn't be a can of anything or loaf of bread left in all the grocery stores. It is something irrational that just overwhelms us and we must have 20 boxes of cocoa, and a case of tp and....well, you know. I've told you about it before.

We're having slush right now -- sleety rain that's leaving little pellets of ice everywhere. I don't know what it is supposed to do tomorrow, but I've been pushing to try to get Christmas stuff done because we have special plans for our anniversary next week. So coming in tonight when it was just getting slushy having most of the shopping done felt really great.
If I remember correctly, you said you had baking coming up next on the agenda. This will be a cozy time to do it! How does you MIL react to the snow?

Since we have Global Warming, it snows in Belgium ! Last year and this year too, since 3 days we are sitting in snow and very cold weather - 9°C (16 F) !
Before the Global Warming we hadn't snow for almost 20 years, I mean real snow which covers at least your foot and the winters were quite warm.
