Friday Feast #106

Appetizer
Tell about a toy you remember from your childhood.
I had one of those magnetic letter boards. It was a gift from an elderly couple that lived down the street... a couple that I visited quite frequently. (adopted grand's so to speak!) I loved that letter board and Mr. Maloney (who I called Mr. Baloney) worked with me daily teaching me how to spell with it! The very first word I EVER learned to spell was e-l-e-p-h-a-n-t! (most kids would start with c-a-t ... but not me!)
Soup
If you could make one thing in the world absolutely free for everyone, what would it be?
Absolutely and without a doubt it would be Health Care! (and I would insist that it be compassionate health care!)
Salad
Approximately how many times per day do you think about your significant other?
Oh wow... several? Somewhere between 10 and 100? Well, let's break this down... there are 24 hours, and I'm awake for about 18 of them... I doubt that I think of him once every single hour... I do get busy with my day... so I would say maybe 12 times a day? I've never really thought about it ... and I suppose it varies from day to day. Some days I may only think of him 3 or 4 times... Let's say an average of 8! That sounds good... 8 times a day!
Main Course
What is something you believe in 100%?
God. No question. No doubt. Want something more interesting than that?
The right to life. Want something less political than that? The power of positive thinking!
Dessert
Name one thing you have done this week that you would consider a "good deed."
Oh... easy peasey! My son called me last night and asked if I could help out one of the gals he works with - she needs a babysitter this afternoon for a few hours. I said sure - no problem! I've never met her or her kids - all I know about them is one is 2 and the other is 6 - and they'll be at my house at 3:00! LOL!

I enjoyed feasting at your table.
So elephant was your first word - wow. I truly enjoyed you salad today. I think it truly is hard to put a number on that, isn't it.
I am sure your son called because he knew he could count on you :).
Blessings on your day. See you tomorrow.

I think healthcare was one of the first answers I came up with. Someone else said houses and I about kicked myself for not remembering houses!
