More Than A Little Excited!
Today I managed to score tickets to two upcoming concerts in my area! First, I got tickets to see this guy!
He will be playing in a field at the St. Leonard Firehouse a few miles down the road from me on July 8th. Can't wait!
The other tickets are to see
who will be playing at the Calvert Marine Museum on May 14! Both of these venues hold LESS than 4500 people! No matter where you sit it's up close and personal! It just amazes me that these teeny tiny venues are able to draw the big names, but they do it every year! Last year the FH had Lonestar -- and the marine museum has had Bill Cosby, The Charlie Daniels Band, Willie Nelson, and reaching waaaaaay back -- Bob Dylan! This is going to be my first time attending one of these shows - and I am pretty darned excited about it!

Wow....how fun will this be? That's so cool. And I've seen Willie Nelson in concert, he really does know how to please an audience...his show in Tucson was 2 1/2 hours long!! (Did you get to see him too in the past concerts?)

Noooo ... I haven't seen ANY of these shows -- this will be my first! BUT... I'm kinda glad I didn't see the Willie Nelson one -- I heard yesterday while waiting in line that the show he put on down here was HORRIBLE and that people were demanding their money back when it was done! But all the other ones have (from what I've heard) been FABULOUS! Krysti went to the LoneStar concert at the firehouse last year and she said it was great too!
