Rockin' Girl Bloggers!
WOWWY! Kaliblue has selected ME as a Rockin' Girl Blogger - and in so doing, has given me the opportunity to pass the award on to 5 other Rockin' Girl Bloggers! ( I don't know WHY it's only for GIRL bloggers... and I DO apologize to allllllllll the guy bloggers of the world... and I strongly suggest that one of you begin a Gutsy Guy Blogger award or something... just to get even!) But the fact is that the award is PINK and says GIRL on it... so I reckon any guy would be greatly upset if I did indeed choose his site for this award! So for that reason I have chosen 5 Rockin' Girls to bestow the honor upon! And.... the envelope please? My list is:
Naomi, Old Old Lady of the Hills - Naomi always has the most fascinating tales to tell! She writes like she speaks ... and she speaks from her heart! And she makes ME smile several times a week!
Flip Flop Floozie - Floozie is one of the sweetest ladies in the universe and a very dear friend of mine -- and I left her off the last blog awards I gave, I think because others had already chosen her -- so this time I'm claiming her first! LOL!
Moogie's World - Moogie has a great sense of humor and a bizarre eye for the world! She also has a couple of adorable girls and a kind and compassionate heart. Her blog is always entertaining.
Talk...to...Grams - I am actually brand new to reading Grams blog - but it has caught my attention in a big time kind of way, and I really think I want to share her with others! And she JUST had a great-grandbaby this week - so I think you should run over and congratulate her!!!
Here, There, and Everywhere... - DesLily (pronounced dee's lily) is a most interesting blog belonging to a most interesting lady! Far be it from me to give away all her secrets -- but she has hung out with some pretty famous people -- AND she hung out in lion and tiger cages as well! THESE days she mostly adventures through fantasy books - and she has a passion for them, and dragons ... and she has even written her very own fantasy novella! In addition she's an artsy gal! Well worth visiting regularly!

You know how I feel about Awards...(At least I think you do....or I should say, I hope you do...) So, I will probably won't be picking 5 Gals to give this too....(If you want to rescind mine, I will absolutely understand!)
I just find it a difficult and painful thing to Choose five people and leave out others....It makes me feel bad for those I haven't chosen....Complicated, I know. But I hope you understand, my dear....
And know, dear Melli, that I truly appreciate you choosing me among your five....And, that is a GREAT Color Pink!

Wow, Melli What a Grear honor for a brand new blogger!!!! I have been reading your blog this winter and spring when I was soooo shut in with my special needs daughter who also has lupus. Your blog always makes me start smiling or down right laughing! You are so funny! I even get a kick out of your comments to other people's blog! What a wonderful gift you have that you can make other folks smile and feel like everything is going to be okay!

Hi Melli!.. wow, thanks so much for the honor!.. I don't blog for honors but, like you, just because I like to write and like reading others blogs!
I'll have to think about the 5 i'm supposed to pass it on to...I totally understand how Naomi feels.. hard to pick some and not others...after all, if we didn't like them we wouldn't be reading them ..duh hahaha..

I am so shocked!! I do not have a speech already written. (blushing and embarrassed)!! I would like to thank my parents first!!Without them what would I be!! Then I guess I would like to thank Lazy Daisy for getting us all together in Virginia because without her I could not have met such a fun loving person such as yourself! We had such a great time. I am so overwhelmed to accept this wonderful award. Thank you so much...(bowing and applause from the large audience)!!!! exiting from the huge stage!!

Melli it's a catastrophe ! I wanted to name you as a Rockin'Girl and see it has already been done by somebody else and I notice with satisfaction that you didn't name me, because I also have got one from Linda. First we were all thinkers (remember the thinking blogs, not sinking) and now we rock ! What's next ? Don't you have any idea what Blog awards we could make up together ? "The most Awards decorated blog" maybe ??
