Saturday Photo Scavenger Hunt -- Long

Join the blogroll. Visit participants.

I've been saving this picture and SAVING this picture to show for LONG this week!!! LOL! These are an art project that was done down at Annemarie Gardens in my county over the past year. It was part of a conservation effort and is made fromsoda bottles, painted white and then decorated by children ... and adults too I guess. I came across it while visiting ArtsFest this past September, and I just loved it! Below is a little bit closer view of one of the columns.

Great project. I didn't realize it was bottles until you said so, and now it looks even more amazing. Have a good weekend.
I am sorry to hear the news of your brother-in-law. It is hard, especially around the holidays. You are in my prayers. Cindy

The soda bottles are stacked into long poles. Smart thinking. They must be well-made otherwise they will be blown away of collapse.

Mine is up too. Hope you can come by.

Have a great weekend.
