Tuesday Tunes ... (I almost forgot this one!)

Tuesday Tunes... hosted at Music Memoirs ... check it out!

And the rules (this week) are:

This week is word association week and it's all in colors! I'll give you a color and you tell me the first song/artist/album that comes to mind when you see it.

    Pink: Pink Cadillac (Bruce Springsteen)
    Purple: Purple Rain (Prince)
Blue: Blue Velvet (Bobby Vinton) *boy that goes back a ways!*
White: Knights in White Satin (Moody Blues)
Gold: Heart of Gold (Neil Young)
Silver: Silver Bells *I couldn't think of ANYthing else!*
Green: The Ballad of the Green Beret (that goes way back too!)
Yellow: Goodbye Yellow Brick Road (Elton John)
Red: Little Red Rodeo (Collin Raye)
Brown: Brown Eyed Girl (Van Morrison)

The worst with me is that I probably know all the songs you listed, but I never remember the title or the singer and when I recognize a singer I don't know the title etc ... only Elvis his songs I know, even the titles lol !

    WOW great minds think alike!
We matched on a few and I decorated the same way!

My mother loved that Blue Velvet song.

Fantastic list! I love all those songs! :) One little bugaboo...it's Nights in White Satin! :) I'm not sure I've heard of Little Red Rodeo! I'm gonna have to look that one up! :)

Great List! We matched on purple. I love "Knights in White Satin" and "Brown Eyed Girl". I wish I had thought of those.

OK, I popped over here this morning and saw you had done this. I read "Pink Cadillac" and thought..."I better go do mine and then come back so I have no ideas planted in my mind." Other than Purple Rain, we were completely different...still some of mine "go back".

I've missed commenting here, but have been keeping up with all of you via my "reader".

    Hugs,

Neil seems to be the pick for Gold, eh? We matched there. Heehee!

Great list! LOVE Brown Eyed Girl, too!

They've been playing Bobby quite a bit on my favorite Oldies Station...he's doing a show in Morgantown WV in the not so distant future.

    Thanks for playing :)

"Brown Eyed Girl", always a favorite. I'm more familiar with the Jimmy Buffett version, to tell the truth.
