Show Me - Front Doors.... and Rehobath
Show Me
Day 3
In which we discover Front Doors!
There is positively NOTHING remarkable about beach
house doors -- except for the fact that they are the ONLY
thing on the ground floor! This is looking through the front
door to the back -- and back again! Silly, huh?
Robert is hosting our Show Me challenge this
week... why don't you stop in and play?
If I can, ANYONE can!!!

Soooooooooo... Mom is BORED out of her mind this time at the beach! It seems there is nowhere near enough people around! Without "others" I am apparently THE most boring person on the planet! She really does rely on the converstations between other people to keep her happy. She doesn't talk. She just listens and thinks she's part of the conversation. Soooo.... Since I spend LITTLE time talking to myself... I'm a bore!
She likes to ride in the car. When all else fails, a ride in the car makes her happy. So yesterday we drove up to Rehobath beach -- only about an hour from Ocean City. It was kind of cool. We used to go to Rehobath a lot when I was a kid. As a matter of fact, about the first 9 ore 10 years of my life, it WAS the beach! It's gotten a bad name in recent years as being a "Gay Beach" ... and I suppose it is - although I only saw a small percentage of gay population to straights. But if the gays are running the place they're doing a bang up job of it! It's a much more up scale beach - even if it is MUCH smaller than Ocean City!!! Ella enjoyed Rehobath... though she was INSULTED that one man accused her of being a Republican JUST because she's an elephant! She told him in NO uncertain terms that she is INDEPENDENT!!! Whew! Hope nobody else makes that mistake! I'm thinking maybe we need to get a Donkey to carry with her!!! Who'da thunk it?

Come on, give mom what she wants, give her a conversation to listen to. You can do it, just start talking. It helps to have different voices and opinions, she doesn't want a lecture or a monologue. Dialog. You can do it. Women have 20,ooo important words to use, use 'em!! You can do it I know you can.

Nice to know where you are now, Melli. If I recognize that front door I will make sure to ring the doorbell!!
Ella reminds me of a wooden M I bought some time ago, some 12cm/5 inches tall...if I could only find it now...
I am back and trying to catch up!! which reminds me of Barbara...!

My friend of many years lives in Rehoboth Beach and she is always bragging at living amongst the rich and magnificent. I'd be happy living in the real world of family beaches and no mansions.

Melli, they are BEACH doors after all - YEAH - for YOU! Wish I was there. It's stormy here.
Ella is sure having a good time. If she's being a lot of trouble I think I could come babysit!
A donkey to carry with her - LOL!
Keep on having fun!

I like those doors. They look great from both sides.
Perhaps you should talk to Ella more then Mom would be happier.
Elephants always win at chess because they never forget a move.
Glad that Ella cleared up that political thing.
Soon you will have more company.

Putting the two pictures side by side gave a wonderful illusion... Ella cracks me up. I'm going to have to chow my daughter the pictures of Ella.

It looks like a very nice flat ! modern and bright. Could you tell me where you are exactly ? so I could look on a map. The picture with the Ella and the dolphin reminds me so much of Eastbourne in England !
BTW the cover on my bed is orange, but Rosie slept on my bedsheet which was red at that moment.
