Fun Monday... and stuff...

This Fun Monday is hosted by iPost over at 9 Acres and I found out about it from visiting Betty. I figured I can doodle with the best of 'em... so I played! Here's mine...

And then we're supposed to analyze it from this site.
So here's what I found out...

1. My doodle has been cropped - so you can't really tell -- but I started my doodle about 1/3 of the way down the page and an inch or two to the left of center. The analysis doesn't really address this area. I guess it would be considered a large centralized doodle - indicating I'd like to be IMPORTANT! (got that right!) And since I started on the left my doodle is "highly significant to the workings of the subconscious" --- or the UNconscious!

2. I have DOTS in my doodle (and BATS in my belfry!) which indicate that I have a fragmented personality OR that I am unstable.... ... who didn't know that?

3. I do have one cartoon face -- normally drawn by MEN - indicating a desire to be the center of attention. *sigh*

3. I have a couple of little oceans ... these indicate that I spend a lot of time indulging my imagination, but rarely put my dreams into practice.

4. Yachts represent a wish to escape from restricting circumstances -- but I didn't doodle any yachts... just to little sailboats... so I must just wanna go grocery shopping or something!

This analysis didn't mention ANYthing about butterflies, beach balls, volleyball nets, flags, spirals, or golf courses. So I'm still really confused about what MY doodle says about me!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Church yesterday was great! Getting to be there for BOTH services, be a part of them both (even though I t.o.t.a.l.l.y. botched both the children's message AND the readings at the first service... OY!) and finally getting communion again... I was just happy as a clam!!! The music is drastically different at the two services - so I got to enjoy both and Pastor's sermon was wonderful - so listening to it twice didn't hurt my feelings a bit! I found it funny that though that the later (more heavily populated) service got a longer more detailed sermon. The early service misses out.
When I got home I got to work on the kitchen again. This is going to end up the longist painting project I have EVER done! Kitchens are just soooooo much more work than any other room... and I'm painting the cabinets too, so it's just monstrous! The day was spent scrubbing the cabinets with rubbing alcohol to get as much grease off as I could, then we took all the doors off and took all the hardware off the doors. Then I finally got started priming them! I got 1 1/2 coats of primer on the sink side of the kitchen. I haven't touched the other side yet! LOL! I sure hope my kitchen's done by... Thanksgiving! LOL!
Dinner was Pizza delivered... but we couldn't sit down at the TABLE to eat it! Cabinet doors and drawers are now taking up every square inch of space in my house! (it's gonna be soooooooo worth it when it's done though!!!) ;)
Me likes your doodle...Too complicated for my simple mind though. Oh, if you want to find the red nine at my place, bring a stick and dig through the pooples...it's there. TeeHeeHee
I think I got it wrong with this Doodle thing, I just doodled without any analysis, bah doesn't matter.
I faint when I read your kitchen work ! Nothing for me ! I would pretend that it is a job for MEN !
I went to the sea yesterday with Ilona, we had a great day it was like summer (without rain) unusually warm ! It's only about 90 miles from Brussels. We took the train for 4 € return ticket because we are retired and 65 ! isn't that great ?
You're a serious doodler--was this done over several days? Very artful.
BTW, I noticed that you are caregiver for your mother-in-law. Have you blogged about this in the past? I'm in thick of this situation with my older sister and am in need of advice--or at least knowing how others cope.
I love your doodle, it is very artistic and precise!!
Can't wait to see your finished kitchen! have a great Monday, Melli :)
I love your #4...your comment on not drawing yachts but sailboats meaning you must want to go shopping or something!!! Cute, cute, cute.
Now I see you fan post below and I just gotta go 'sally forth' to see...is this part of your kitchen overhaul? Gotta go see....
I believe I may become envious of you doodling people!
I love your doodle. But I'm not a doodler any more. No time.
LOVE how intricate it is! That doodle analysis site is so negative! I didn't know that before i picked it, as i didn't want to look at it before i did my doodle! Oh well, just ignore the bad stuff!
That is a wonderful doodle! I really like it.
I can't wait to see photos of your kitchen when it is done. It sounds like you are going all out on this project.
Melli, your doodles are beautiful. My analysis book says you are extremely creative, loving, kind, warmhearted, affectionate, you enjoy adventure (the boats - perhaps by sea - do you like cruises?).
It doesn't say anything about butterflies (which I tend to doodle a lot of), but it does say about animals and birds. If you draw animals it indicates a love for the outdoors and if you draw birds it means you're gentle and considerate and love freedom. So maybe it's a mix of the two?
And the dots thing it's not if you use dots that is bad, it's when you ONLY use dots to do your doodle - which you didn't.
Happy Monday!
That is a very detailed doodle! And pizza sounds very much like the order of the day when the kitchen is under renovation.
Came over from Hootin' Anni's to check out your Fun Monday Doodle. Wow, you are so creative.
I think your doodle is oodles of creative. :)
I wish I could hold my head up to doodle. I loved that.
Church sounds like it was fun yesterday. And I'm sure no one noticed any "botching".
Hugs,
Susan
What a fun doodle!! :) I would love to be ale to just randomly squiggle. :) And to have it look good. :)
Your doodle is very creative. I like how it fits together, sort of building from inside out. I wish it addressed more points on that website.
Now that's a doodle if there ever was one. Now the oceans indicate Ella is far away and the overshadowing butterfly wings indicate you want to fly to her .
My second service sermon was always longer than the first because I thought of things I should have said the first time.
You will have a great kitchen.
It will be worth it.
I liked the way your doodling all fit together. I liked dr john's thoughts on it. I know your kitchen will be wonderful.
You are brave to do this BIG BIG job!! But I guess someone has to do it and it looks like it is up to you. Finally back home now. You asked why I was looking for hospitals..well Becky and family are wanting to look around too so they will need hospitals for working..that is why.
hope all is well with you guys...glad to be back home. Sandy
Great doodle. For some reason when I first saw it - I got this impression of Medieval times. don't know why.
I think your unconcious was working a lot while you were drawing this picture. I see a little you waiting happily to come out again in love. The red small figure is the little you I see. There is a heart at the bottom of the opening where you will emerge. I see some oooh la la...evocative of Paris and I see wheels to get you where you want to be. Or hey...it could just be a cool doodle sort of like Picasso.
Your doodle is wonderful! It has great form and balance, and fills the space provacatively -- I'm sure it's a serious piece of art!
(It feels as if you are a happy person and creative person.)
Painting--ugh! I hate painting, and the kitchen IS the worst! Love the ceiling fan (is your ceiling blue?? Looks cool!)
