I'm 59 years old. I've been married to my hubby for ... WOW! 30 years! I'm Mom to 4 great kids - 2 girls, 2 boys - and one granddaughter, now 12, and a grandson who is 5!
I am a firm believer that Jesus Christ is my Savior, and I struggle daily to be the woman He wants me to be.
Have a good time off. I think your snow is beautiful. If it's any consolation it's cloudy here today...I mean gre(a)y clouds. Smile My Darlin' this too shall pass :)
When Melli, you are sick of snow..so we are expecting some snow flakes on Friday..it will not be in the way of your snow storm..I hope it will stick on the ground for a day or two..enjoy your week-end..hugs, Baba
Is it a few days yet? We had all sorts of excitement the other night when the weight of the snow broke a lot of limbs off our 40 year old live oak. I was standing at the breakfast room window when one started falling. I heard a loud crack and then the limb brushed the screen really hard as it fell. I was glad it didn't get me.
Just stopping by to say Hi and I miss you. :-) Hope you've found something interesting to do inside. There's always reading. :-) But I know even that gets tiring after a while.
Do they have any predictions about when it will be warm enough to melt any of this off? I would guess it will be a while.
We just got a few inches of snow last night. A lot of it has melted off already, which is just about how long I like for it to stay. :-) We're supposed to get more tomorrow night, but they're saying "no accumulation" at this point.
I think I put more smilies in this than any other comment. :-)♥♥♥
That's why I didn't hear anything from you anymore and I started worrying ! I missed this post ! What happens Melli ? that's the first time in nearly 4 years I know you that you are on blog strike ! If it can comfort you, I too am soooo fat up of this black and white scenery ! I want spring colors and wear T-shirts instead of 10 layers of thick sweaters and stuff ! I feel like an onion !
Ok..it has been 4 days. I'm guessing you are out running around with Anil P. who lives in Mumbai. I bet you took little Ella over to India and he is showing you the sites. It has been 4 days since he has posted, too. Um hmm..yep..over there chasing tigers and butterflies.

Find something creative to do. I know you are more than capable of creating your own joy.

Poor, Melli.
I know this is my fault.
I'm wishing for Spring, now.
Does that make you feel better?

Like Quilly said, maybe find something creative to do. You could make some Snow Angels with Luz :}.
I was watching on the news last night, what a wicked storm you got. I think Winter lost it's way, and is hitting the wrong part of the world.
You have a wonderful rest.

I totally understand.
I found that helping a friend today put some joy and purpose back into my snowy existence.
{{HUGS}} to you, Melli!
