I took this picture 10 days ago.Due to our abundant rainfall, the corn in the picture now
completely hides this tractor from sight from the road!
I've never seen corn grow so fast in my life!

Here’s my 6th photo in my 6th file in my photo album...
No story here really. This is a little antique store over in the beach near me. I just thought there was a lot going on in and around this house - and you never know what you might need for a photo challenge ... so I took it! According to the date stamp it was March 13, 2007. I don't think I've ever used it. So ... now I have!
You know... I don't do the tag thing...

Yesterday was just a "chill day"... catchin' up a little bit after two days of play play play! I had to go out -- I love it when I DON'T have to -- but I did. I had to pick up prescriptions for Mom. They've quit giving us refills, so I guess this means I need to call and make an appointment for her to be seen. A year ago he told me that he doesn't need to see her anymore because he can't do anything for her. She is just going to steadily decline until either her mind or her body totally gives up and then she'll die. I guess now he just wants to make sure that hasn't happened yet before he gives her any more meds! LOL! The pharmacist called and got this months okayed - but once again, no refills. *sigh* I can play their silly little game... that's what I'm here for! ;)

I wanted to tag you for this meme, but Thom beat me to it! And I can't believe you couldn't think up a better story to go with that pic! Howabout, I saw a bank robber run down the street and enter this shop ....
And by all means, take your MIL to the doc and leave her alone to wander through the place looking at and picking up things. Doc will give you all the refills you ever want!

I love the tractor picture. Perfect in sepia. I think we are going to float away soon with all of the rain we are getting.

Poor Mom. You know Melli, if it was for you and Dennis, just think where she would be! You two are God's Angels and you take such good care of her. I know it is hard and at time it makes you nuts, but just repeat, "My Father In Heaven Is Counting On Me"! And it will get you through!

I love the tractor. I learned in Iowa that corn should be knee-high by the 4th of July.
I'd love to visit that antique store, so cute!!

The tractor made a great sepia picture.
I am also drawn to places that have a lot around them. That shop looks inviting.
Mom has to see the doc. Some meds some times change their ability to work after awhile and to see there is nothing bad going on that has nothing todo with the brain.

You see there are nice things to look at in your town !
Your doctor probably needs money that's why suddenly he is interested in mom's health ! When she is dead he has one patient less, that's just like the dentist when you get false teeth ! he tries to convince for implants and things and stuff, business is business !

Love how the sepia tone on the picture makes it look antiquish.
Maybe you could ask the doctor about authorizing refills without seeing her? Though, even though he can't help her, he probably still needs to see her from time to time just to keep on top of how she's doing -- or maybe for insurance purposes. I know ours is persnickety about requirements for meds. But I take 3 regularly, and when it gets to the end of the refills, I call the doctor's prescription line and tell them I'm out and ask for another refill and tell them I'll be glad to come in if they want me to, but for now I need this refill -- and so far they've done it over the phone (called in a refill to the pharmacy) every time.

That little store certainly has a lot going on; but you know it is probably filled with lots of little treasures you would be surprised to find when you walked in.

The picture is very cool. I can't believe the corn grew that quickly. We didn't get spring this year. We went straight from winter to blast furnace heat. I don't think we will have any tomatoes this year. It was too cold at night for a long time, and now it is too hot for them to set fruit. Oh well.
The doctor really must see your mother, even if there is nothing he can do for her. Rxs only are good for a year max....and who knows, but she may have developed somthing you don't know about yet.
We have a pill boxes for hubby's parnets...they are labled and there haven't been much problem with them getting the pills taken. Now the health aide called to ask why the a/c wasn't on. I thought my husband was going to weep when told that. He has gone over and over the setting with his dad. He has told him to leave it on 76 and it will be fine for day and night. God really doesn't give us more than we can manage..it just seems that way sometimes.

A great sepia picture. If only my plants grew like that.
Our doctor makes us come in an get blood tests before he gives us an order for refills. I guess so many Doctors are being sued Doctors want to be sure the prescription won't harm the patient.
I played the tag game but your picture was more interesting than mine.
