Macro Monday... and Finish This...
The funny thing about this shot is...that even when I'm looking at this plant with my naked eye
I do not SEE the individual hairs with such clarity
as the camera captures them!
Maybe it's just my vision... I dunno...
This is how the camera took the shot...This is 4x zoomed out... and I was perfectly happy
with THIS macro -- until I zoomed in and saw
the one above! But really... I love them both!

16. If I had a million dollars… I wouldn't HAVE a million dollars. It would disappear pretty quickly.
17. I’m totally terrified of… alzheimer's. But I trust God to do what's best...

It's just amazing what we can do with our pictures when we play around with the perspective. I like the surprise of macros when they show things I can't see. Thanks for stopping by my blog. My past taught me to live one day at a time too.

We were on the same wavelength, I took photos of the pumpkin flowers last night after a rain. They are beautiful but kind of creepy too!

Love the macro pictures! God's intricacy of creation is so amazing.
I love your sentence finishes! I'm surprised your withdrawn at parties. I would have thought you "the life of the party" type. But maybe, like me, you're more comfortable with smaller groups, family, and close friends.
I'm not good for much the day after a really busy week, either. I never thought to call it brain mush, but that pretty well fits!

Wonderful shots!! I love the curly cues!! One of the reasons I love macro shots...I can't see with out reading glasses anymore! Always a surprise when I down load them!!

Melli -- Several weeks ago I asked the scientist in my house why this happens. He says that the fibers show up because the light refracts differently in the camera then it does in our eyes. What to our eyes is transparent, the camera sees as solid because it stops (absorbs) light.

It's not your vision Melli,you and your camera did a terrific job! You se, that's the beauty of macro shots, sometimes the camera captures things the naked eye could not see, ort did not pay attention to! That's why I love macro shots so much!
