Life's a Beach!
Ohhhhhhhhh we had sooooooooo much fun at the beach this weekend! Amanda and the kids just came for the day on Friday - but Krysti, Mom & I stayed the night and had two days there! It was just wonderful! The weather was absolutely PERFECT! And the waves were perfect too! Bigger than the Texas kids had ever seen -- but not too rough for them too play in! They were pretty mild by Atlantic standards -- but because the kids have only ever played in the Gulf waves, they were SUPER impressed! And they had a BALL! I took the boogie board this time and...
Liam LOVED it!
Ronin LOVED it!
Rhianna LOVED it!
Baby Girl gave it a TRY!but...
... she's still better off belly surfin'!
There was hole diggin'...
... and castle buildin'...
... and negotiations...There was also sand crab finding... and weeee little clams too!
What fun to watch them quickly dig there way back to safety!
And by nightfall...
there is always the BOARDWALK...
where cotton candy and ice cream live!
And sometimes there are special visitors...
... like SpongeBob Square Pants!
... Darth Vader and Yoda ...
And the random juggler!(you really never know WHO you're going to
find on the boardwalk!)
And then there are rides!
WILD rides!
And mild rides...
And rides that GO BUMP in the night!
Bump bump bump...
Sillyness prevailed... and I hated to see them go home!
Day 2 was much quieter...
A quiet lunch...
with good food...
and great scenery...
And an afternoon soaking up sun...
watching...
kites fly... and...
... other people's kids have fun!And when it was time to come home...
Mom was only a "little" confused!
I almost couldn't grab my camera FAST enough!!!She thought that seat was just
a bit tight...

What a wonderful time. Wish I was there. It was good to see Mom again. Loved all the beach pictures. They all brought back memories of my kids.

Oh, Melli! The beach and the Boardwalk look like shear delight. Those food looked yummy. Your kite shots are fantastic. And the grand finale with Mom was indeed grand!

Oh my babies were having a blast!! They told us all the stories, and ALL were so proud to not have need to vomit after the round and round, up and down ride. Liam said "it went 60 miles an hour, I think, but I am pretty sure!" They were proud Krysti didn't vomit either, and impressed as well.
The only sad thing they said was not having the time to buy a souvenir. I assured them that Aunti M and Amanda took looks of pictures, and between those pics and their memories, they had PLENTY of souvenirs. :)
Thank you again for loving on my kiddos and giving them exciting adventures. :) It is mucho appreciated.

I can see how much you enjoyed the day with the kids ! must have been a lot of fun. The portion of your plate would last 3 days with me lol ! it's so huge !
I leave now in an hour to England, also to the sea. Tomorrow I will wake up with my seagulls ! Youpee !

Well, you all had fun, there's no denying! The waves looked great, the food looked great, the kites are lovely against that blue sky ...
And Mom, ... awww. Poor thing. But that smile on here face is precious. It shows she had fun, and that's she was happy.

First of all, I LOVE these pics. The fact that you took the picture of your MIL getting into that seat is too cute. The picture of your daughter is by far my fav, though. Her eyes...just say so much.
I wanna come play at YOUR beach. Looks so fun.
