Ruby Tuesday... and Favorite Things
I just love this mailbox I found in front of theRiva Volunteer Fire Department!

Barbara did this meme on her blog yesterday... and invited me to do it too... 20 Favorite Things.... but ya know... I've told my favorite things at least a million times on this blog! Suuurely you all know my favorite singer, my favorite color and my favorite food! I've done so many meme's that y'all know more about me than my husband does!!! Sssoooooo... I decided THIS time I'm doing my 2nd Favorite Things!
20 2nd Favorite Things...
1. Color…Tan... since I don't have a favorite color it was really HARD to pick a 2nd favorite!
2. Dessert… pecan pie - same with this one! Too many FIRST favorites!
3. Smell… coffee
4. Flower… gladiolas
5. Animal… polar bear
6. Month… September - still warm enough to swim, nights are getting cooler, my birthday, twins birthday... lots of good stuff.
7. Beverage… unsweetend ice tea with lemon
8. Pair of shoes… sneakers
9. Snack… I don't snack much... maybe Fritos.
10. Song… Nope! WAAAAAAAAY too many!
11. Book… hmmm.... 2nd favorite... I don't read ANY of them more than once... except the Bible... so ummmm.... Winnie The Pooh!
12. Fruit…canteloupe
13. Hairstyle- long long long down to my butt and beyond... but I'll never wear it like that cuz my hair will NOT grow that long!
14. Piece of clothing… capri jeans
15. Store to clothes shop…Peebles
16. Season…spring
17. Hobby… reading
18. Thing to collect…I gave up collecting. I don't want to collect ANYthing! I only want to collect empty space!
19. Movie… HOME movies! hahaha...
20. Restaurant…hmmm... maybe Mike's in Annapolis
Telling 2nd favorites still get's too jumbled up in with favorites... especially on the questions that have no real answer like favorite movie? Favorite color? Favorite restaurant? NEXT time I'm doing "If you were going to enjoy these things right now, this minute, today... which would you pick?" LOL! That's the only way to really do it! FAVORITES is such a relative term!

Not a lot going on these days. Yesterday was quiet. Went to Bible study last night -- we finished up Esther. We had a little Purim celebration, and one of the gals read all the blessings and the entire book of Esther (from the Message) and we all boo'd Haman and shook noise makers each time his name was read! Not being Jewish, and having never celebrated Purim, it gave us a good idea of the hows and why's of this Jewish celebration! And it was fun! We also ate some yummy cookies called Haman's Hats. Darn! I should have taken a PICTURE of them! They were cute!

You should have saved the mailbox for the Scavenger hunt!!! LOL!!
I love all your next to favourites and yes, we probably all know you better than your own husband, so true!! He does not read your blog then? If Spring is your favourite season, what's your favourite one then? Summer?

That is one of the coolest mailboxes ever!
Second favorite things, huh. Well, they were pretty interesting.
I couldn't remember what your favorite smell is, but rain is one of mine. I love to smell rain coming. We spend so much time in drought that when rain is coming it is heavenly!

That is the cutest mailbox!
I think second favorite things would be harder than firsts -- except for a couple of categories I always struggle with choosing one favorite. Another twist on this would be to do the least favorite things.

Vert nice fire truck picture.
Interesting list but Agent 012 would not be happy about the polar bear choice. They still give him nightmares.
Now that sounds like a great way to end a Bible stufdy.
