Friday Feast #107

Appetizer
What color is your car?

I'm not sure what the "official" color is - but I call it Champaigne! (makes me feel like it's just a little better than it is!!! LOL!)

Soup
If you could wake up tomorrow with full training in another occupation and a job in that field, what would it be?

Probably to be a photographer -- for National Geographic!

Salad
How many times in your life have you had the flu (or something similar)?

I'm getting too old to remember! I know I've had it at least 3 times... the kind where you just WISH God would let you die! Thankfully, He does know best and just makes me suffer through it!

Main Course
What is something that has happened to you this week that you didn't expect?

I definately did NOT expect to pass out at Curves yesterday.... my own fault though... I forgot to take my medication and next thing I knew... PLOP! It wasn't fun!

Dessert
How old were you when you had your first kiss?

I think I was three. His name was Jeffrey and he loved me for my mother's cookies.

I had a friend who called his car color "cashmere" for the same reason. Since nothing is simply red, blue or green anymore, why not go with what makes you happy?

His name was Jeffrey and he loved me for my mother's cookies.

Isn't that always the way?

Your appetizer is very appetizing. Your soup is very interesting and your salad is heavenly. Main Course is hot and dessert pretty cool.
Thanks for stopping by.

Oh, Melli, your blog looks wonderful, when did that happen, how come I notice it today???
Love the color of your car, it is soooo elegant, chic, full of flair!
I would love to be a photographer too, I think it is fascinating to be behind the lens and capture all those great moments in life.
Have a great friday! :)

Melli dearest, proper southern ladies do not "pass out" we swoon! So much more dramatic and I'm sure you did gracefully...

Like the new look....looks like you, colorful, sleek, elegant.

You Go Girl!

Feasting or Fasting...take your medications!

By Blogger Lazy Daisy, at 8/18/2006 10:43 AM

Melli -- food and meds -- not necessarily in that order. I skipped breakfast one morning when my tummy wasn't feeling super and got a bit woozy exercising.

"He loved me for my mother's cookies." That has to be the best line of the day! Maybe even the week!

Great new look here! It suits you. You are indeed a shining star!

By Blogger Charlene Amsden, at 8/18/2006 11:11 AM

Goodness girl! Be careful with all that excerise!

Your dessert was too cute!!!

Mine is up!

By Blogger YellowRose, at 8/18/2006 11:16 AM

Great feast, but your main course was scary. That's a no, no in forget your meds. Be careful!

Your dessert is cute.lol

I'm up. Come and dine.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 8/18/2006 11:28 AM

What a great feast! I choked on the main course but it wasn't because it didn't taste good. ;)

And, your dessert was scrumptous!

By Blogger Pilot Mom, at 8/18/2006 11:52 AM

We both have the same lofty ambitions lol! Love the soup :))

Lovely feast! I hope you were all right after what happened on your main course! I love your soup too! Exciting and adventurous!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 8/18/2006 2:38 PM

Wow, how cool would it be to be a photographer for national geographic. I hear it's one of the toughest jobs as a photographer. I'd definitely be up to the challenge of travelling around everywhere on a short notice!

Great feast!

Great feast! I know a "Soup"!! www.normpotter.com has some amazing stories to share with photography. He is supposed to blog and share there on his site, but I have to get after him. Go nudge him on for me. =O) Take care. -Margie

Hope you are ok. That doesn't sound like it felt very good. Great feast this week. Mine is up.
You're doing awesome on your weight loss. I have 50 to lose myself, but people tell me it doesn't look like it.

By Blogger Shaylondon, at 8/18/2006 4:24 PM

Melli - I love your sense of humor. Hope you have recovered from the Curves incident. Let me know when you're working a National Geographic, maybe you can get me a job there too.
