Graduation Day 2007
This is actually last night! We all thought it waspretty cute - Krysti had to show Derek how to
tie his tie! (the boy does NOT dress up!)
This is actually my favorite picture of the day!This was before we left home for the ceremony --
they were still happy & excited!
Those feelings didn't last! I know graduations ARE long and boring ceremonies... but this one was beyond boring! We would have killed for a true public speaker in the house! The kids did fine! Valedictorian & Salutatorian did great! Class president did well too. But the adults were long winded and borrring! At one point I looked over and Amanda was almost asleep! I felt myself nodding off a few times too! OY!
Sooooo... this is Krysti with her "genuine" happy smile!Amanda brought her the pretty flowers!
And here are the new GRADUATES!She with that horrible fakey "just get this over with" smile...
... and him with the I wanna GO HOME smile!
They are SO done!

Oh, I so know how boring i can be, but it's a pity because it don't have to be at boring.

You have such a beautiful family!! I'm so proud of your kids...I know they are happy to be done with school!! Is Derek going to college? Can't remember...Is Derek your only red-headed child? I always hoped I'd have a redhead, since my grandma and aunt and cousins were redheads, but after five tries, I thought I'd best give up ;)!

Congratulations to the twins. Know it was a big day for everyone. The last high school graduation is always a little tearful for mom too. Sorry it was long and boring. Love all the pictures from Kindergarten to high school.

Boy...I bet you are really proud of your twins!! The babies are now all grown up and ready to move on!! You will have an empty nest before long too!!
I thought later about that BLUE MOON thingy and remembered what it was...silly me..so much going on these days with being gone. You are right guess it is just something that might never ever happen. Leave it to me to mess up that questions..smile..Sandy
