Friday Feast #168 ... and Aloha Friday!

Friday Feast
wanna play?

Appetizer
Which snack do you like to get when you go to the movies?

LOL! Well... okay... let's pretend that I DO go to the movies. I'm not a popcorn person so my snack would probably be either nachos or ... I forget what they're called, but those caramel balls coated in chocolate? Ya know what I mean?

Soup
What year did you start using the internet?

Wheeew... ummmm.... boy! Hard question. I think it was around 1995 or 96... Man! Doesn't seem like that long! But it has been!

Salad
What is your first name in Pig Latin?

Oh I LOVE this one!!! Cuz my name is Elli May!

Main Course

Name something you are picky about.
Oy... y'know... I USED to be picky about just about EVERYthing. But I've relaxed a lot in my "old age" and I now know that pretty much nothing is of any real importance other than God and family and friends. Soooooooo... I'm not picky about much anymore! Oh... but Daisy will tell you I'm picky about getting "virgin photos" ... and she would be right! LOL! I don't WANT the same ol' photos that everybody has taken!

Dessert

Fill in the blanks: I ____ ____ yesterday and I ____ ____ today.

I stayed home yesterday and I ran errands today.

The Rules: Very simple really. Just visit Kailani and answer HER question in her comments. Sign her Mr. Linky thing, and then go post a question on your blog for others to come answer in your comments! Of course, if you don't wish to do all that, you can just answer MY question in MY comments! LOL!

My Question Today:

Which of your 5 senses would you miss most
if you lost it?

My Answer:
For me it would be my vision. I LIKE to see faces and
especially SMILES. I would really miss my eyes. And
with little Luz coming soon, I really want to see her!!!
(although I really want to HEAR her giggle too!) But I
also really really LIKE to drive - and I couldn't DO that
without my vision!

love nachos and those caramel ball thingies!! YUM. Wonderful feast this week!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11/09/2007 12:48 AM

I don't go to the movies very often but then all I get is a small bottle of water...how boring am I??

Now that I need glasses I value my vision. If I had one wish I would truly ask for perfect vision forever!

Never heard of Pig Latin so I have to check that out, happy Friday, Melli!!

Great feast! Are you thinking about Milk Duds? (caramel ball thingies)

By Blogger Natalie, at 11/09/2007 1:09 AM

I like your name! By the way, great job on your weight loss! I am always amazed at the dedication and discipline people have. I am still trying to take off baby weight from a 2 year old and 7 month old combined!

By Blogger LivG, at 11/09/2007 1:18 AM

Ahhhh those virgin photos...yep I'd agree with that one. And yes, ma'am Elli May is a PERFECT NAME. I mean you COULD be USAN Say!

Have a great day!

I like nachos too especially with some grounded beef and cheese. I like the sound of caramel balls coated with chocolate.

Interesting question for Aloha Friday. I don't think I could live without my sense of sight. The thought of not being able to see the faces of the people I love and my surroundings would be torture.

You ran errands already for the day? Lordy, it's only 6 a.m. here....what time zone do you live in? *wink*

Happy Feast Day! I think you meant "Milk Duds".

Loved your feast today and I had a good browse around your blog - it's lovely and I will be back :-)

By Blogger Gill, at 11/09/2007 8:34 AM

That's a hard question! I think it would be smell for me, though. Most of my memories have smells attached. New babies, puppy breath, Christmas cookies, even hubby's shaving cream.

By Blogger Jessie, at 11/09/2007 8:44 AM

Great question!!

I'm going to have to go with your answer: vision. I can't imagine not being able to see my family or witness all of the crazy stunts people do. lol

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11/09/2007 8:53 AM

Your pig latin name is great! Enjoy your weekend...

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11/09/2007 8:59 AM

your question is a tough one!

i definitely don't want to lose vision, and hearing, and being able to talk, and being able to taste food. this is really a tough one! i'll miss whatever i'll lose and i hope i will never lose any of these senses even through old age.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11/09/2007 10:08 AM

I am not picky too but if I understand the word well I am very picky about toilets ! Here is no problem they are cleaning all the time so many people need work and a toilet cleaner can nourish a whole family !

By Blogger Ingrid, at 11/09/2007 10:14 AM

I think for me it would be my hearing. As much as I appreciate my vision and my sense of taste, I think not being able to hear would just about kill me.

By Blogger Memarie Lane, at 11/09/2007 10:25 AM

Love you salad and main course.Im full here!happy feast!!

By Blogger **"Liza"**, at 11/09/2007 11:07 AM

Great FEAST today Miss Melli!! i can relate to you about losing my sight. i think that i would hate that the most!! I love seeing this beautiful world that we live in, watching my grandchildren's face when they are happy, see the sunrises and sunsets, seeing my hubby's smile and so many many other things in this great life.

That's a hard question, I'd have to say I wouldn't be able to decide between hearing and sight - I'd be devastated if I were to lose either of those.

By Blogger Deb, at 11/09/2007 11:51 AM

Great feast this week! As for the Aloha Friday question . . . this is tough! But, I would have to say that I would miss my sense of sight more than anything because, like you, I love seeing faces (expressions, smiles, etc.). I also get such a blessing at looking at God's beautiful creations! It would be very difficult to walk around in a dark world!

Happy Weekend!

By Blogger Jennifer, at 11/09/2007 11:57 AM

Happy Friday Elli May (BTW~ I LOVE it)! Great feast, I did just the oppisite of your dessert, I ran errands yesterday, and today I'm staying home! Great feast!

If I had to give up one of my senses I'd miss hearing the most. The laugther of my children, a beautiful song, the birds singing, would make me very sad, although I LIKE to drive to, hard choice, but I'd have to still say hearing. :)

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11/09/2007 12:10 PM

great feast, melli! love your main course. i hope i get to be not so picky...enjoy your weekend!;)

By Blogger ribbiticus, at 11/09/2007 12:13 PM

What a great feast! Hurray for another nacho lover!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11/09/2007 1:00 PM

Yummy sandwich in the top! Me getting hungry again!

Me too would miss the vision most. It would be horrible to live in the dark...

Come on over and have some gigglewater and lot'sa mouth watering dishes!!!!!!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11/09/2007 2:14 PM

It would have to be my sight. I can't imagine not being able to watch my girls grow up.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 11/09/2007 3:38 PM

You have a great feast. Nachos are really good at the movies. Thanks for visiting my feast.
