Sunday Seven ...

I don't know if anybody is doing this meme anymore...
maybe just a few of us... But I use it to remind myself
at the end of each week that I have a LOT to be thankful
for.

1. I am very thankful that BOTH of my boys have obtained cars this week! Even though Derek does not yet know how to drive his... yes, it's a manual! But he's working on it... and I have FAITH that he will "get it" soon!

Derek in Honda Civic & Mathew in Mazda

2. Although I miss our Little Missy - she has such an adorable personality - she is Mathew's kitty and moved out when he moved out -- so although I do miss her - I do NOT miss her when it's time to clean the litter box! I am very thankful to be down to ONE kitty using the litter box! :)

3. I am thankful that many many MANY years ago, I had the foresight to hang on to my children's bouncy horse so that hubby could get it out of storage this weekend and clean it up! I'm sure Luz will be thankful too! When she gets here!

4. I'm thankful for Arundel Mills Mall, and the Oshkosh Outlet, and the Carter's Outlet, and Books-A-Million! And you don't really want to know HOW thankful I am for them! (I bet they are even MORE thankful for ME!)

5. I am VERY thankful that it is finally November and we can finally count down the DAYS until Luz comes to us!!!

6. I am SO thankful that all of my children, who at one time I wondered if they would EVER even LIKE each other, have grown up to absolutely LOVE each other and place family as their first priority in their lives. (well... I would prefer they would put God first... but I keep praying... maybe someday... In the meantime, I'm thankful for what I've got!)

7. I am thankful that the two Bible studies I was not crazy about have both ended, and THIS week starts two new ones for me! My Monday night group will be studying James and Jude. I'm excited about that one for sure! I haven't decided exactly which study I am starting on Sunday's yet... I have a few more hours to make up my mind. The two I'm looking at are Rick Warren's Bible Study Methods - Twelve Ways You Can Unlock God's Word ... or... Ablaze! Evangelism At Work. I really REALLY want to take the evangelism one -- but it is video based and I do NOT do well with watching television!!! I like BOTH instructors, so that's not an issue... I just have some decision making to do!

Melli -- no matter which Bible Study Class you decide to take, God will make certain you get what you need from it.

I am excited to join you in the Luz countdown!

Woo Hoo! The new cars look great. I'm sure the cat misses you too but you do have visitation rights, right?
The new Bible studies sound great, it doesn't sound like you could make a bad choice. btw...all the Savannah Outlet merchants send their warmest regards too!

Luz will be at your house before you know it!! She is great age for that horse too. We had one of those for Jon. Guess he is too big for it now since this week he will be 43!! Man!! So happy for your boys too that new cars came so quickly for them. Straight stick (manual) was what i learned on! I still love driving one too! FUN!! Hope your Sunday is great!! I have to go to Curves and decorate this afternoon for our grand viewing of the new CURVES SMART equipment. So much to learn...WHEW..Sandy

Great SS, Melli! I can't wait to hear all about Luz and her new family! I know it's going to be so fun for the holidays for all of you. And the horse...can you even buy them anymore???? That should have been your "Classic" photo from yesterday. It IS a Classic Toy, in my opinion.

I can't wait to hear what Bible Study you choose. I think this is the thing I am missing at my church right now. I really would love to get together with a group of women regularly to study---for that matter, a mixed group wouldn't be bad, either.

Hugs to you my friend!!

:-) Susan
