Monday? Already???

Mine was green too! (just so you know...) I apologize to some of you that I haven't been around yet... do you all think you could just quit blogging for a day or two and give me a chance to catch up? I don't know WHY I'm soooooo tired, but I am and I don't seem to have a brain left either. On top of that I've gone and gotten involved in a BOOK -- Step On A Crack by James Patterson -- I LOVE his stuff! I WANT to put it down, but it only stays down long enough to get the bare essentials done and then I'm right back in it. I'm sorry. Bad timing... I know. I haven't gone through my hundreds of pictures. I haven't scrubbed my scummy kitchen floor and I haven't EVEN gone grocery shopping yet. (youngest son should be scrubbing the kitchen floor - as it is apparently HIS party that is all over it -- but that's another post and I don't think I can hold out that long...) Anyway... I'm still making the rounds... to get you all visited -- and at least ONE comment per! I know... I know... Vacation is HARD work, ya know???

yes, vacation can be hard work. I always wanted to go on a vacation where you just GET there magically..then you just sit and read or watch the ocean and people bring you everything!! WOW!! Guess that ain't gonna happen not in my lifetime anyway!! smile.
You will get back in the swing of things. Takes time and some energy too..
Blessings my friend, Sandy

Melli,
Take some time for yourself and enjoy the book. The kid that had the party should be the one to clean the floor and nobody should do it for him. Dennis should back you on this. So, girl, you just lay up and read..take care of basics and have a mini-vacation for yourself. Wish I had a book that kept drawing me back in like that. I've finished all the good ones and am reading an Irish doctor book that was touted as being like Jan Karon's books...which so far hasn't happened. btw-Jan Karon has written one more Father Tim book and it was delicious....as usual.

I have to get me one of those green things. Glad you have a book you enjoy. I know how hard it is to put a book down. I bought five books for summer reading. I planned on reading a few chapters a day. I have now finished all five.
I need a green thing.

I've always said that one needs a vacation from a vacation.

You know, the cool thing about not having kids is that when I clean my house before I leave on vacation, when I come home it is still clean -- except for the laundry and crap I drag back with me.

At least her tongue matches her shirt - it doesn't clash!
Glad you're back and can't wait to see the pics.
James Patterson is hard to put down - enjoy!

Fun dessert! :)
Vacation is fun but it always gives a person lot of things to do once it's over. I'm sure the fun memories of your vacation makes the work worth it.

Haven't you finished that book yet? Stop by and check out the family portraits. I think they turned out really well. They will certainly bring a smile to my face when I see them.

I hate to go back home after a vacation and face the same old routines....boring.. boring...
Luz is so cute with her green tongue and precious top...
Enjoy reading your book, housework will always be there day after day...
