Ruby Tuesday... and The UNimportant Meme...

Thom (Thoms Place 4 Well Whatever) tagged me for this meme so long ago I can't even remember when! Here's how it's supposed to work...
I mention the person who tagged me, which I just did, then I list 6 unimportant things that make me happy and then I'm supposed to tag 6 more people which will not happen! But if you would LIKE to do this meme and you are stealing it from ME, you may certainly tell me you did and I will be happy to come have a look at what makes YOU happy! Deal? Deal!I have gone back and forth, back and forth on this meme for toooooo long! I'll put something on the list, and then think NO! That is waaaaaaay to important to me to be considered UNimportant... sooooo thinking up SIX UNimportant things that really truly dO make me happy was HARD... things that make me happy ARE important - to me. But I think I've got it. These are things that I couuuuuld live without... if I had to... but that I really, REALLY enjoy!
(obviously no family or friends are mentioned because they are ALL too important for this meme!)
1. An adorable little gray elephant.
2. A CLEAN house.
3. Hats! You all know I love hats! I just do! A sun hat makes me happy... a really outrageous gaudy Queen Mum hat makes me VERY HAPPY!!! I love ALL her hats!
4. A good book. Something uplifting and happy. Something I can just really snuggle into!
5. A really REALLY gooooooooood cup of coffee. Cream & sugar please. (to go with that book)
Not just ANY cup of coffee. I mean, my morning coffee IS good, and I enjoy it... but it's just standard, gotta get up, gotta have java .... I'm talking about when you stop somewhere for a cup of coffee or you order a cup after dinner, and you're not sure what you're getting, but it turns out to be GOOOOOOD! Ya know? A really HAPPY cup of coffee!
6. An umbrella and a walk in the rain.

I think they're all IMportant, aren't they? Anyway, important or unimportant, I enjoyed your list. I think I might steal it. Don't know yet, we'll see. I'm already doing seven favourites twice today! LOL!

I'd never heard of that flower, either. It's lovely. Great macro shot!
I can see why you'd go back and forth with this. All of those things are important in their own ways yet not so important that we just couldn't live without them (except maybe the book....I have a hard tie without a current good read!)

I believe you are right -- if it makes us happy, it really isn't a little thing. Even the tiniest enjoyment should be treasured as the gift and the blessing it is.

Mandevilla is a beautiful flowering vine. Yours is exceptional.
Personally, I think hats are a necessary thing with the sun and all. I look like something very scary when I take mine off when I come in from the yard, but better than melanoma or the others.
I'm thinking I won't steal that meme, because I'm pretty sure most everything is important to me.
