T'was a Glorious 4th!
Amanda & Luz had already gone to see fireworks the night
before, so we were not concerned about seeing any again.
Instead we decided to have a kind of low-key 4th. We stayed
in Annapolis and went to the parade...
Got into some silly string before the paradeactually started!
Silly string is REALLY fun stuff!
No 4th of July Parade would be completewithout Uncle Sam!
Luz enjoyed taking pictures too! She gotthose trombones and tubas from EVERY
angle!
Then we went back to their apartment andhad a bbq on their WOOD balcony.

Did sparklers... and snakes, and glow wormsand other fun lighty / poppy things!
And then the Daddy put off a few fountain typefireworks!
Just a little sumpin' sumpin'
... to oooooooh and aaaahhhhhhh over!I was pretty much gone all day yesterday and didn't get home until after
midnight! I hope y'all had a REALLY good (and safe!) 4th of July too!

Looks like a wonderful time!! I so wish we could do some fireworks here. We're not supposed to have them in the city limits, though people do.

Glad you had a Great Holiday Melli, for some reason our Canada Day just doesn't seem to have the punch and excitement that your 4th of July does.
You may want to stop by the blog and try to guess what the close up picture represents or is.
I started a wee game that you really don't win anything but the chance to see if you can guess. I guess Honorable Mention will be given to the one who comes closest.

Loved the pictures. I was thinking how different the 4th is than Cristmas or Thanksgiving as far as family get togethers. The 4th is so less formal

I'm glad you had such a wonderful weekend Melli! The 4th of July really is a BIG thing in America, wow! Us Belgians are far less patriotic I'm afraid. It's a day off for most of us, but that's it!

Oh Melli, Luz is just too adorable for words. Love her hair ---her outfit is so darned cute. I want a girl ---a granddaughter. Color me so jealous.

Looks like a funny day and Luz had a lot of fun. Little Jinda is in Italy with her mother, but I don't know where.
