WARNING! Busy-ness Ahead!
Luz & I were making music last week!
At home she has every musical instrument knownto man! At Nana's we use whatever works!
I'm warning you guys up front here and now that the next 3 weeks of my life are going to be INSANELY busy and I probably am not going to get a post up EVERY day! I will try - but I'm not counting on it!
Amanda's inlaws arrive tomorrow from Texas and she has a full week of activities for ME to participate in with them. I have never met them before and am really looking forward to meeting and spending some time with them! (i just wish it had not happened right before VBS...)
The following week I will be in HIGH GEAR getting ready for VBS... Up until now I've been mostly shopping - but now I have started putting the "kits" together and that is just verrrrrry time consuming work that HAS TO BE DONE! So that will be the 2nd week of business - and during that week there really won't be much to blog ABOUT...
And then the week after that is VBS! I usually do find time to post about my mornings there - so unless there are unexpected snafu's I should assume I will be posting -- NOT sure how much time I'll have to visit! But I do my best. So there you have it! I am trying to get some stuff done today and tomorrow ... it goes slow.
I had to dress Mom twice this morning because I no sooner got her out of the 4 shirts she had on and back into ONE than she went upstairs and came back down with 4 again! This normally is not a problem anymore because I got SMART and would only put ONE outfit in her closet each day. She would STILL come down with her pajama top under her clothing top - but I think I have a solution for that too.... But YESTERDAY I let her fold and put her clothes away -- reminding her to hang her shirts in the closet. This morning of course, she had all her shirts on - I don't know if they got hung or not! LOL! But when I went up to fix things I found this!
Everyone hangs up socks. Right?
There were no shirts OR slacks or shorts in the closet!
Just 2 jackets ... and socks.

God Bless her! I hope and pray that the good Lord leaves my mind in tact, but if it doesn't stay where it should then I hope God sends me an Angel like you!

Pots are much more fun that actual instruments.
I'm exhausted for you already.

I'm in the opposite spectrum of things -- I'm just coming off of a very busy time, but after tonight should have a few weeks of normalcy -- until the wedding. Hope all goes well with all your activities! Wish I were there to help put kits together with you! Doing it with someone takes some of the tedium out of it.
Poor Mom. I have to admit, there are times when I get frustrated with my MIL, but when I read things like this I realize we don't have it bad at all. She hasn't put on multiple things, but she wears things for much longer than she should. We've snuck things into the clothes and she's gotten them back out again. (Grrr!) Evidently her sense of smell is not what it used to be... That kind of thing and multiple repeated conversations are what we deal with most often.

Well you are just going to be a busy busy bee...I really liked the drum that Luz has. So clever and cute. Funny, my closet hangers look exatcly like that as well :) LOL funny story about Mom. Have a good day and don't tire yourself out too much. Aloha :)

You really are going to be busy but for the most part it is a good busy.

My mon always believed in whats at hand to play with like pots.What fun.
Your mom has found a solution to my problem. I just went around finding stray socks left, as I was pulling sheets off the bed to wash.

The last picture made my day ! that's a very good idea to hang up socks, lol ! and in a certain way also very logical.
I don't know why people with this desease always want to put more than one cloth on. Chantal's husband did it with socks and underwear ! at least 3 or 4.
I try to find out what VBS means (very busy schedule ?) A cooking pot is a far better drum then a normal one, all children know that ! lol !

Awwww, poor Mom. Poor you, having to put up with that all the time. Your patience is isangelous, I admire you for that.
Loved the pictures of Luz, but then again, I always do, she's so photogenic!
Oh and um.. busy is good!

This is so sad..the older I get the worse I fear doing this!! I just do not want to be this way!! Bless her and bless you for taking care of her...
