1. Do you prefer even or odd numbers? Any particular reason?
My favorite numbers have always been 7 and multiples of 7... and I have NO idea why! They just make me happy!
2. On a scale of 1-10, with 1 being "not at all" and 10 being Carly Simon-worthy, how vain are you?
ROFLMBO! Ohhhhhh my goodness. I guess we all have a wee little bit of vanity in us... but mine is phenomenally low! If 1 is "not at all"... I guess I would have to be a 2.
3. Among these Irish stereotypes, with which do you identify most closely? Talkative, Proud, Inquisitive, Love to party, Hot-tempered?
Those are Irish stereotypes??? In my younger days I would say being hot-tempered. But that could hardly be true anymore. I don't think ANY of these really describe me. I have talkative moments... but I am really more quiet than talkative. Depends who I'm with.
4. How lucky do you consider yourself?
I consider myself INCREDIBLY blessed! I doubt "luck" has anything to do with it at all.
5. What is the subject of your favorite post that you've written?
Do you know that this is my 1,565th post? And you would like me to pick a favorite? I'm sure it was about FAITH in one way or another. But I'm not searching to pick a favorite!

Fickle... foul... or fun!
7. How apt are you at detecting blarney when you hear it? (Smooth talk, flattery)
VERY! I raised the KING of Blarney!... not intentionally! But he IS who he IS!
8. How "green" are you, environmentally speaking?
I reallllllllly need to work on this. I am NOT a good steward of our earth's resources.

Worthy, You Are Worthy... we sang that on Sunday and it's been in my head all week!
10. You are walking along and see a coin on the ground. What denomination does it have to be before you will stop to pick it up?
FUNNY you should ask that! I don't pick coins up -- I do intentionally drop them! LOL! But I have a friend who picks up EVERY coin she sees and puts them in her pocket and adds them to the offering at church on Sunday. I prefer to leave them for someone who needs them or for a child to pick up.

Oh! This site says it was Diana, by Paul Anka. One of those little birthday booklets I got says it was Blue Velvet, by Bobby Vinton. Then this site says it was Tammy, by Debbie Reynolds. Billboard agrees it was Tammy. How weird! I never realized this was a HARD question! LOL!

I got a little carried away on the song finder too...I started plugging in my kids birthdays, my wedding day, etc. It was fun though.

I wasn't even going to do this one at first, but after reading your and Linda's answers I decided it would be more fun that I first thought.
I had been thinking about the "vain" question ever since I wrote the answer and had to go back and rework it.
I agree on #4 and 11!.
The site you linked to said the #1 song for my birthday was Let Me Be Your Teddy Bear by Elvis. I've never heard of that one. I don't know how to fins the top Billboard one for that date -- I googled and looked on their site but didn't see a way to find that out.

#10 made me laugh. I do pick up coins outside, but I haven't in the house, and I don't know why. There is a penny by the desk, and some odd coins by the bathroom sink and I go by and think I should pick them up, but I haven't. Do not know why.
