Holey Holey Holey...
Gattina wants to know! This was the most boring weekend in a long time. No festivals, no beaches, no outtings... except the grocery store. And two trips to WoWmart. I'm up to my EYEballs in Bible study right now -- which is no fun for YOU - but great for me! So sadly enough, I really have nothing to share! Oh! Except this... while cleaning up more of the yard I discovered...
Aside from erosion from the recent rains,
we are pretty sure that extensive MOLE
trails have played a large part in the act of
demolition!
1. Live on a hill.
2. Entertain moles.
3. Torrential rains.
It all adds up.
Now... what to DO? That is our playground that is about to be swallowed!

YIKES!!
Danger, Will Robinson!!
I don't know what to do about something like that. I suppose you have to trap the mole and do a lot of filling. It certainly makes it a dangerous place to play. Luz could break her leg falling in a hole!
On Friday, we discovered evidence of a mole digging in front of our house... right next to the house and the front porch (which is a concrete slab, not wood). It might explain why there is a small sinkhole developing on the driveway.

Oh no! What can be done about it? I agree with kcinnova -- I's hate for Luz to be running in the yard and fall through some place.

Maybe you will discover a gold mine in your yard ? The mole did already a good part of digging, lol !

Sounds expensive especially if you need to bring in fill. Gotcha all prayed up. I don't have my msn account anymore (got some kind of virus that kept sending out messages at all times of the day and night so had to close it down.) My new email it kbennetch@gmail.com . Let me know how you are....miss you.

Does your house insurance have a rider that will pay out if your kitchen tumbles into a mole hole? You might want to be checking that -- and calling an exterminator.

I hope the erosion is far away from the house. Those underground burrowers can be a PAIn in the, well you know. Your post looks like it is about to fall over. I'm a little red neck, so I'd get me a gun, a stool, knife and piece of wood. And I'd sit and whittle until I saw that sucker poke his head up, then I'd raise the gun over my head and come down on him like a fly swatter. There got me a mole.
Iff'n that doesn't work I'll tell you what I"d do next. Get some fill and fix the problem. Then go to your local beauty salon (hairdresser)and get a bag of hair, come home and put it into all the problem areas (holes)and well judging from the size of your back yard you better get'cha a big bag, good luck luv
