Where I Come From... Part II
After this past week's Friday Feast, a couple of you asked to see my living room. Since I hadn't played in the Tour Of Homes, I decided to go ahead and put up these shots.
These were taken when we first redecorated and so the place looks REALLY nice! It's changed some since then -- when 2 kids moved home we had to shift some furniture and my computer desk now sits where the rocking chair is in the picture, and my stationary bike takes up a good part of the corner between the couches! But this shows you what it's SUPPOSED to look like! (and will again ... one day)

Thanbks for your visit and your very kind remarks! I can really understand how this "knowing forever feeling" happens...because we share so much with each other in our blogs and in our comments...it just feels like we are continuing the already lovely friendship that exists! I love this, too!

Very pretty Melli, I wish we had a fireplace but really it is not cold enough on enough days to enjoy one.

Is that raggedy Ann and Andy in the rocking chair? I loved them when I was little. I don't know what happened to my raggedy Ann. That's great that you have them. :) Your living room is very pretty. :)

yES I agree with Mrs. Daisy...very homey and comfortable!! Looks Like you enjoy country..right? That is what I always liked now I am not for sure what I have here in savannah...just a mess of things I guess!! I have what I can afford I guess. I love your couch!! My color and stripped!! Very pretty!! thanks for posting your room. I should do that someday. It helps to see where people live. Very nice.

Love the room, and I've had to rerange furniture for kids to move in, and then they move out, and then they move back in........
Everytime some mom whines her child is moving out, I go "oh poo", they'll be back before you know it. And back,and back....
I am home sick with a bug from work. Everybody's got it. I thought I'd die yesterday working with it. It's awful. Back to bed I go........
