I'm 59 years old. I've been married to my hubby for ... WOW! 30 years! I'm Mom to 4 great kids - 2 girls, 2 boys - and one granddaughter, now 12, and a grandson who is 5!
I am a firm believer that Jesus Christ is my Savior, and I struggle daily to be the woman He wants me to be.
I'm not sure, but this looks a lot like a cicada. Or do they also call 'em locust. These are the ones that make tons of noise[some call it singing...lol] from the treetops, in the summer.
Happy Wednesday dear Melli. [hope the ones where you work enjoy the joke]
Well first, MORNING and second, ICK! LOL! I'm not a bug person. ;) We get them every summer - they sing and sing and sing! And the Grackles seem to like 'em too.
Oh, very interesting! We don't have these big locusts over here in Sweden and never an invasion of them either. Thankfully. Maybe that's why I can find them interesting.... *giggles*
As you notice - I'm back! Invading the blogosphere like the locusts ;-)
Ewwwwwwwww!! We had a few of them this year. We have several different cycles of them...a mild 3-year cycle, I think, and a HORRIBLE 13-year cycle. The 13 years pretty much take over everything. We have four more years to go on those :) Ugly bugs!!
ohmygosh, we had a ton of those when I as a little girl in Kansas. My brother and I would put some in a bag and tie it to our tether ball. They made a great sound...lol. Happy Wednesday
I don't know what it is, but I must say Melli, I'm VERY impressed!!! Looks like you're learning how to use your photo enhancing program. LOOKS GREAT!!! No, I didn't post one.
In Illinois they are having them this year in loads or they were supposed to be having them. YOU are playing a chorus that we sing a lot in our church. We sing a lot of chorus's just like this all of the time. Our Christian radio plays this type of music all of the time and really is the only music that I ever listen too. GREAT!!
