Ya gotta admit though - it's a GREAT Ruby!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Was yesterday the sloooowest blogger day or what??? I mean... my blog doesn't pull a LOT of traffic on a good day -- I average around 60 visitors a day -- out of which about I average 12 comments. My mOst sincerest thanks to those faithful 15-20 who provide me with the beloved comments! LOL! But I noticed that yesterday was just all around slow! I only had about half my usual visitors ... but still managed mOst of my comments! (again - those faithful followers!) But I ALSO noticed that in my 82 blogs that I follow that only a handfull posted yesterday! Was there a world wide holiday that nobody told ME about??? I'm just sayin'....
We are rainy rainy rainy and cold here today. I'm snuggling up with some coffee and a paintbrush! And maybe later a good book! So... I have a question.... to leave you with...
IF you woke up tomorrow to find that cable/satellite no longer existed... somehow it was destroyed overnight... just flat out, not to be "fixed" in a week or two... but utterly completely wiped out... gonna take yeeeeeears to get up and going again... How would this affect you? NO more internet. NO more cable television. ???
Great photo, and what a great find for RT! It's not every day you see a hand drier that colour - you must really have had your wits about you to snap that one :-)
As to your question, I am filled with horror at the thought of losing my beloved internet - the Tv doesn't bother me so much:-) I guess I'd just have to walk the dogs more!!!
Well I'd be going through blogging withdrawal, (It's happened before and it ain't pretty!) but I'd have plenty to watch on the tube. Hubby collects movies. We have over 650 of them. And so many are like old friends.
Melli, first of all whoever thought of making that hand dryer RED is a wonderful person! What a pleasure to dry your hands under that machine! Great angle of a great shot! Happy Ruby Tuesday! Second, I can't imagine what I'd do without the Internet and cable TV. I lived during a time when we had no air conditioning, but now I can't think of living without it! :(
As long as you don't get mixed up and put the paintbrush in the coffee cup, you should be fine. :-)
I have never seen a red hand dryer like that!
If the Internet and cable and all were gone tomorrow -- I would not be a happy camper at first. I'm sure I'd go back to phone calls and "real" letters, etc., but I would really miss the "instantaneousness" of getting information. I have gotten quite spoiled with being able to G**gle everything. I'd really miss my blog friends, too.
Terri Blackstock (one of my favorite authors) wrote a series (the Restoration series) about the whole earth being suddenly without power. Quite interesting -- brings out the worst in some people but builds character in others.
If I didn't come to your blog I would never know what the hand dryer in the ladies room looked like. Our hand dryer is not red or even nice looking.
In answer to your question my trains would still run and I would be spending more time with them.
Dear Melli. You are NOT a weirdo!
This picture of yours has everything that I love...chrome and reflections!
Did you notice that beauty of a truck over at Felisol's?
It was so beautiful!
Chuck full of chrome!
Thanks for coming over to see Mom Golden's picture.
You know what Melli? I had to go over to the Teach to get to your blog because it is not in your profile!
Maybe you had better put it there!
In the meantime I am going to put the Teach on my favourite links so that I can find everybody!
How do you know that you get 60 visitors a day? Does the blog let you know?
I will be back!.... You sound like a fun person!
Love Terry
PS Melli I wouldn't miss TV but I would be suffering real pain if I didn't have my computer or my micro wave!!!
Great photo, you're like me, camera always ready. The cable/satellite dilema wouldn't effect me, I read, way too much.
