Good gracious! I am NOT a Techie by any streeeeetch of the imagination! As a matter of fact, in MOST cases I hate modern technology! Well... at least of the electronic genre! So, I have to admit that I wasn't very excited about this weeks hunt, and I didn't put much effort out to find something fabulous! What you do get is probably the newest piece of technology that I have .... I'm pretty sure our family was the last family in the county to get them, but we've had them for about 2 years now. This one is not two years old -- it was new just a few months ago. I now present ... ta da ta da....

Melli - I read somewhere that in a few years your cell phone and credit card will be combined into one unit. No more letting the kids borrow your cell phone!

Spoiled it the word! LOL
My external/mobile hard drive - well, I hook it up to my PC via USB cord and keep all my huge photo/scrapbooking files on it and all kinds of other crap. It keeps my computer's drive clean which helps my machine run smoother an faster. The mobile part is good because I can take it to someone's house and hook it up and have my files with me! =) it holds as much junk as my computer does but small and compact and outside of my computer. handy!

I (!!) was clever (for once) and looked up what "Technology" meant and found an explanation (on my blog) so you just could have put a picture of a lighter a candle or whatever, because FIRE was the first technology found by men (no, humans, why always men ???)

nice looking cell phone!! Makes mine look like an antique!....I remember the first cell phone my sister had, about a zillion years ago...she was the "wealthy" sister and she was the only person I knew who had a cell phone. It was in a huge black BAG and we had to put the attenna out the windo and on the roof to use her phone...and the thing weighed about 25 pounds! wow, technology, it's something huh?? Mines up...

I can not believe it. I have three pictures on my site and two of them have been mentioned in your comments. What ever happened to me taking a strange twist on things. I so missed the mark this week.
Very nice cell phone.

Hi Melli
I am like you, i'd be lost without my cellular or computer. 15 years ago I had neither. I got a new cellphone just before christmas. I remember my first cellphone. It was an old bag phone. Everyone teased me about my old WWII issue cellphone.
Blessings for a wonderful weekend.

Good job on your photo for this weeks theme. I would have a very hard time living without my cell phone now...we get so spoiled.
Take care,
Connie

Yes, we do get spoiled! Would you believe, however, that my husband and I don't have cell phones here in Germany? We had them in Canada, but for emergencies only. Here, we haven't bothered picking them up yet.
Have a good weekend. :)

Isn't it funny how those two things have become such big parts of our lives?

It's funny too....have you ever found yourself down the road a bit and realize you've left your cellphone home on the counter and turn around to get it? I have...
And only 5 years or so ago, we didn't even have one.
What a difference things like these phone make in our lives.
Happy weekend Melli. And thanks for the get well wishes. I'm still kickin'!! rofl

I dodn't even have a camera on my phone! So you're one step ahead of me. :-)
I'll admit I wasn't too excited about the hunt this week, either, but I found a picture I liked anyway.

I have to admit I really enjoy having a cellphone too, altho talking is all I do with it. I just got my first cameraphone and I still don't know how to use it.
Also, I have no use for IM or text messaging...technology can pass me by on this one!
Good post, Mels!
Have a great weekend!
Hugz....

My cellphone has become a great necessity. I don't leave the house without it. Just wish I could have a newer model. Mine seems a little outdated now.

Good choice Hon!
I agree, they have become such a part of our everyday life!
I remember our first electric can opener, electric toothbrush and stuff and thought," It doesn't get any better than this!" *S*
Happy Weekend
Mine's up too!

Ah, the tech wonder ;-) Yes, I remember the resistance against cell phones in the beginning. Now almost every one has one in this country.
Though I sometimes think that people overdo the use of it. For me it's enough with certain situations, to get hold of persons for shorter calls.
I do wait for the cell cameras to get even better, then I'm going to ditch my point-and-shoot digital camera - one more thing to get rid off - to not have to carry around :-)

A good post for this weeks hunt. I only use my cell phone once in a great while. It's nice to have it in emergencies though. I wouldn't want to do without my PC either lol. We're all spoiled.

I have to laugh because the first time I saw a flip phone was while I went back to US, or at least I think. I was so amazed at cell phone technology in Europe, which is just way ahead of the states and canada...
Thanks for the wonderful comment!

It does look like you get a lot of use out of your phone. It's perfect for the theme.
Mine's up. Please stop by if you get the chance.
