Indiana ... Moooo!

Mar!!! This one's for YOU!!!
(I did stop and buy mOre cheese here on my way out
of Wisconsin...)
Oh we had FUN today! This was a very good travel day! But first, I want to answer Quilly's question about why I had to stop and by the shirts for Dennis. Quilly dear... Harley Davidson T-shirts are collector's items. Every Harley dealership in the country (and abroad) has their very own shirts with a special logo for them and the name of their store on the back. MOST of these dealers do not sell their store shirts on-line. A few do. I always manage to find him a couple for Christmas each year. But most do not. Also, H-D has 3 manufacturing plants in the US -- one in York PA - he and I visited that one when we took Krysti to the NY college - they make the bodies there. The one in Milwaukee (outside of Milwaukee actually) makes the drive trains. Dennis would have loved to be here... and if he had been we would have actually taken the tour. I'm not all that interested in drive trains - so I didn't. I did VERY much enjoy the tour in York though! So... anyway - that's why it was important! :)
Now... for today. We only made it just barely south of Milwaukee last night - and I decided I was not going to stop in Chicago again. NOW I'm mad at myself that I didn't because I saw billboards for a place in St. John, Indiana (up near Chicago) called the Shrine of Christ's Passion. I would have LOVED to visit there... I just didn't know. The billboards were on the Southbound side of the road.... so I thought I was getting closer to it instead of farther from it. Wasn't until I got here (to Indianapolis) and into the hotel that I found out how far off it is. *sigh* BUT... we DID have good fun today!

We stopped in Fair Oaks, Indiana and went to the Fair Oaks Dairy. Sadly they do NOT do a cheese factory tour. They dO have a cheese factory and do have a virtual tour which I did indeed watch. It was fascinating! But mainly they do have a huuuuuge dairy!

One of 3 huge "free roaming" barns they have.
They "say" the cows mill about and socialize and "choose"
their bed each night. Each of these 3 barns holds 1400
head of cattle. To me that doesn't leave much ROOM for
milling about!
And a bus tour through it all. We saw the whole milking process for this 10 farm dairy. They ship out 250,000 gallons of milk per day!!! PER DAY!!! That is 40 big tanker trucks full! PER DAY!!!
State of the art milking carousel. Line 'em up! The "eagerly"
walk themselves into the milking stall, and back themselves out
at the end of their 8 minute ride.
Annnnnd we got to see not one, but TWO baby calves BE BORN!!! I'm tellin' ya! This was big stuff today!
Mama 1
You can see the little feets stickin' outta her butt!

She was havin' a bit of a time of it, so Dr. Farmer Girl
came in to help out. (she ended up needing to use a chain)

But awwww... it's a GIRL!
And Mama is takin' good care of her.
(never mind they will be separated within an hour and never
see each other again....)
I have to say... I found the whole tour positively fascinating -
but I don't agree with how it's done. I knOw ... I knOw...
modern days, it's a business, blah blah blah...
I just wonder if God ever really meant it to be like THAT!?
When we were done with the entire tour, we went back in the cheese place and ... well, they ALSO make their own homemade ice cream... Mom had strawberry and I had butter pecan! It was THE creamiest ice cream I have ever had! And surely the freshest!
I just gotta tell ya - that bowl full was what they called
ONE scoop! I could not finish mine - but Mom finished hers
... AND mine! LOL! She does love her sweets!
Then it was on the road again, and we finally rolled into Indianapolis around 5:30. I drove around the city for awhile and got a feel for where I wanted to "be" and then found parking. We walked down to Monument Circle and there we got a horse drawn carriage to tour us around the city. Mom LOVED that!
Boy, if this picture doesn't put me back on my diet
nothing will!

Monument Circle
(it's a Civil War memorial)
The thing about cities is that from a distance they all look alike. And from up close they look very similar. You really have to have time to explore a city to find it's very own fun characteristics. And I don't have a lot of time. Every time I go to a big city I say "I wanna come back here for about a week!" ... and sadly I do... want to. But I probably won't ... ever. *sigh*
Alright! Enough about ME! Now it's getting late - and I really DO want to come see what I've been missing on YOUR blog! So, I'm gonna get as much in as I can before I fall asleep!

On The Road Again...
Okay... so the thing about cheap motels who offer FREE internet ... is that their signal is so weak that they don't actually deliver the product! And they're disgusting t'boot! So right now I am sitting in a
truck stop highway oasis eating McDonald's and enjoying a truly 5 bar FREE connection! Not a McDonald's $2.95 free connection - but the oasis offers it's own FREE connection. 'Nuff said.
Yesterday our travels didn't get us very far. We spent most of the day searching for Harley Davidson Power Train Plant in all sorts of places where it wasn't -- and then accidentally stumbled across it where it was. Dennis's t-shirts are IN THE BAG! Then we went to the Milwaukee Zoo. Didn't see much. I don't like to go INSIDE to see animals in cages, and most of them were not outside in their not as bad as some but not good outdoor habitats either. I did get some good shots of the peacocks that live in the zoo but are free to roam as they please. I guess they don't fly due to heavy tailage... so they live a free life within a LARGE confined area... being the whole zoo. The weather was grayish but not raining and not really cold, so I couldn't figure out why more weren't out. We did see some camels (very sad looking camels) and some rhinos. The monkey's seemed happy. At least the ones outdoors.
After the zoo we spent some time trying to find downtown on the water. It got MUCH easier when I realized that all those signs for Lakeside actually MEANT Beside Lake Michigan! LOL! I kept seeing the signs and just thought Lakeside was a town that I didn't want to go to... *sigh*... what I'd DO for a brain! Or even a piece of one... So I finally got to see Lake Michigan - and even took pictures... but I didn't get to explore that wOnderful (looking) art museum that I was hoping to... WHY do museums always close at 5:00? Is there NO one besides me that would love to visit a museum AFTER dinner? Or even SKIP dinner in favor of it? Apparently I am the only one... I'm hoping to hit Indianapolis BEFORE they roll up the carpets today...but I don't know... we seem to be travelling through a typhoon. I am utterly convinced that the midwest is really the rainforest without the forest.
Well... if I want to get there at all, I guess I have to get back in the car. I'd RATHER stay here and play all day... but HOPEFULLY I'll find a hotel with a good connection tonight and come visit then. *crosses fingers*
Love to you all! (thanks for visiting me even though I'm neglecting you all! You are great friends!)

Bye-bye Neenah...

Elmer & Ella watching TV together...
they sure are gonna miss each other.
Mom & I will be heading out momentarily. Off to our next adventure. I know we are stopping in Milwaukee for a little bit -- I am on special assignment there from my hubby! From there I have not decided where we are going. Today, I am following my nose! Or maybe we'll follow Ella's nose!
I do want you all to know, that after our dismal start here in Neenah, Mom settled down and had a GREAT time... and Dr. John assured me last night that she really ISN'T as bad as I think -- or that I don't think. I just only tell the really bad or really FUNNY stuff... but most of the time, she's fine... and just goes along with whatever is going on -- and really is HAPPY to have something going on! She HAS had fun this week! And so have I!
Now I'm off. I'll see ya when I see ya!

Puter Trouble
We had a little mishap and my laptap downed about a quarter cup of coffee Monday morning. When I got back to the hotel Monday night it became evident that computers should have unsweetened DECAF if they're going to drink coffee... or none at all would probably be better. I now have a new laptop and the Geek Squad at Best Buy was supposed to get all my files off the old puter and put them on this one. But they didn't. They only got the files in Dennis's section. Not in the owner. (Me) Sooooooo... I've lost, I guess all my pictures from this vacation that are not already up on the web. Unless MY computer guys can get to them when I get home. Grrrr.... Also, I'm up too late -- and you know what new computer's are like -- you have to get alllllllllll your stuff back on them - and most of mine is at home. I don't have my PSP to reload which means I can resize and crop the way I like too.... I'll get a good post going sometime in the next day or so though.
Right now I just want you to know that if you EVER get the opportunity to come to Neenah Wisconsin on a trip of your own, and to meet Dr. John and Betty Linna -- even if you don't play canasta or stay for a week... just DO it! They truly are the sweetest people on all the earth! I knew ... I KNEW how much I was going to love them... and I do. I just really do. And I cry that I
probably won't ever see them again. Of course, you know me... NEVER say NEVER!!! But a thousand miles is an awful LOT of miles... I really REALLY wish they only lived ... next door would be good...
I have so much to do to get caught up on blogging and poems it's crazy. But right now I just really need sleep. And I check out in the morning.... so I'll see ya when I can!

Sunday Fun!
Today I got to go to church with Dr. John, Betty, Penny and grandson Alex. It was awesome! First... I have to say this... it felt SO good to go to church "with my people"... I mean as opposed to going to church "alone" each week. I don't MIND going alone - I have so many friends at my church now, that it's really okay. But it's just realllllllly COOL to go to church WITH your people. And I also have to say... that by this point, in this week, I DO feel like I am from the same tribe and clan as the Linna family! I LOVE these people. I knew I would, and I do and I'm going to be sO sorry to leave them... but that's another day... not yet. Today was church!

Penny and friends make an announcement ( a really cute
announcement) about how the flocking of the flamingoes
is going! Neenah has been FULL of flamingoes this week!

THIS is what "retired" Pastors do...
they hold very captive audiences for the Children's Message!
Dr. John is well appreciated in this congregation!

Even by it's smallest members!
(this little guy was just soooo cute!)

And Pastor Steve gave a great sermon!
The service was quite a bit different than ours - even though ours changes every week and is never the same... sOMething is the same that wasn't here. Not better... just different! But I can't really put my finger on what it was. Probably had to do with the praise team... but I'm not sure. OUR church definitely does not have a children's bell choir - and the kids who performed
today at St. Mark's did a GREAT job!!! I was very excited to have seen them! I enjoyed the entire service... it was wonderful!
After church, I took Alex and went back to the house to pick up two more rug rats! Then I took all the boys back to the hotel pool to swim for a bit. They had a ball!

Rub-a-dub-dub
3 boys in a hot tub...

Alex making faces with the hot tub foam...

Elijah found two of the quarters I threw in...

Caleb playin' with the life ring - I'm sure we weren't
supposed to... but... NO lifeguards!!!

And I even stole the exercise ball out of
the gym for them!!!
(I was good -- I dried it off before I put it back!)
The rest of the day we spent just relaxing back at the Linna Estate. Oh... excuse me... I mean The Fortress! Mostly playing canasta! (you didn't believe me when I said I was driving a thousand miles to do this, did ya?) Honestly... we just talk and talk and talk and we got laughing so hard I thought I was going to have to grab Dr. John's oxygen away from him! And I know it would positively KILL him to laugh like that -- but I don't know HOW he can sit there totally NOT laughing when Betty & Penny & I are literally practically falling off our chairs we are laughing soooooooo hard! It really amazes me that he can do that ... cuz I knOW he was laughin' on the INSIDE....
Now I gotta go write a poem and get to bed! Seeeeya!
Oh! Maribeth's -
The Dackel Princess - dog, Annaliese just had puppies. If ya get a chance stop by her blog and see 'em -- they are itty bitty and adOrable!

Poem A Day - Day 26
The prompt for today was to write about miscommunication, or misinterpretation. So here it is!
Get It?
what you heard
is not what i said
and what i said
was not what i meant
what i meant to say is
that came out wrong
you haven't been listening
all along
i've been trying to tell you
i'm misunderstood
a lot
of what i say is right
or maybe i should write it out
or spell it out
no doubt.
Neenah - Day ??? (what day IS it?)
People... Neenah, WI is The Twilight Zone! It eats hours, Pigeon Falls is a part of it, AND there is just ooooodles of weirdness here! (aside from the Linna family!) I'm just going to tell you this quickly and then I'm going to bed because I have another early morning tomorrow to do CHURCH with the fam - and I can't WAIT! So I have to get some sleep! But weirdness ABOUNDS here! Of course, I freely admit that Ella brings a LOT of stuff upon herself... but this was NOT her fault! Not even a LITTLE bit! She was just innocently standing around practicing cheers to go to the Packers Draft party when out of NOWHERE a Buffalo comes running and Elephant-naps her!!! I was very upset. VERY upset! But before I could even get REALLY wailing about it, along comes this GIMONGOUS Flamingo behind. The flamingo swooped down and plucked that buffalo on the neck! He dropped Ella and she ran toward ME -- but the Flamingo picked her up and flew off. We thought she'd been elephant-napped AGAIN - but the flamingo was a good ol' bird and just kept her safe until the buffalo ran off... then brought her back to us. Nobody is EVER gonna believe this stuff!

A Poem A Day - Day 25....
Today's prompt was to choose an event for the title of your poem and then write about it.
Summer's Ends....
Summer was ending
Our holiday too
We finished the boardwalk
and stopped for a brew
At one local crab house
the band did play
while the sun was setting
behind the dock by the bay
The music was great
Even mom tapped her feet
To some Dead and the Doobies
Grandbaby was sweet!
Just us four girls
Four distinct generations
Whoopin' it up
our last night of vacation
But my favorite part ...
My memory delights ...
In the way that they danced
On that warm summer night
Under tiki torch glow
and colored lights on the hut
My girl and her daughter
were shakin' their butts!
Prattle...

I think Ella was in Pigeon Falls yesterday...
I saw her out by the railroad tracks with
this RABBiT... he didn't have a sweater -
but I'd have sworn he winked at me!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We went to a cute little place for lunch yesterday -
We don't have one of these in Maryland that I know of.
They have really yummy sandwiches, burgers, soup & salads.
We had a great time!
(around the table L_R)
Betty, Penny, Ella, Dr. John, Mom
But DARN if Ella did have mOre fun than an
elephant oughta!
Little monkey!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I would really like to visit a cheese factory while I'm here. Penny thought she knew of one and so we stopped there on the way home. Turned out it's not a cheese place (though they do SELL some) but a milk bottling dairy. They weren't in operation at the time that we came. They bottle milk from 5:30 -11:30 every morning... I'm going to TRY to get back to see that too! Not sure... I've got a string of early mornings here - and Mom doesn't DO early easily! So we'll see. We are going to find a cheese place though -- this IS Wisconsin after all! LOL! However, while we were there, Ella found this dude!
Quite a bit slower than a locomotive...
Less powerful than a ping pong ball...
Almost able to trip over a mushroom in a single fall...
Da dah Da DAH!

It's CHEESE MAN!!!
(and his trusty sidekick - Swiss Miss!)
I don't know where she comes up with this stuff!
Honestly!

Neenah - Day 2/Part 2
Yesterday afternoon we took Ella to the EAA Air Museum, in Oshkosh. I knew she was going to love this museum - but I had no idea how much!

The Wright Brothers plane as seen from the skyway.
Ella wanted to fly it... but I kept a good hand on her!

Dr. John, Mom & Betty... Uh oh! Where'd ELLA go?

Oh! She discovered that Lindburgh ladies HAT!
She said she wasn't trying to steel it - she just wanted
to "try it on"...
ummmmm.... NO!
(for the record, Dr. John thought I oughta let her)

Of course HE was also the one who said "no no no! Don't
get her down! She's being CUTE. I have to get a picture!
(and here, I was counting on HIM to keep her in line on
THIS visit!)
You know... Elephants aren't even
allowed IN the museum.
All I wanted to do was keep us from getting kicked out!
All Ella was trying to do was figure out how to fly SOMEthing!
Anything... she wasn't picky!

But she thought this one was a little
too small.
I guess you
do need to be able to get IN the cockpit to be
able to fly...

She wanted to know what those propellers were for anyway...
we told her they have to be spinnin' for the plane to get off
the ground! Next thing we knew she was trying her best!

Thankfully the Spirit of St. Louis was waaaaay to high for
her to get to! She was eyeballin' that baby! She thought
it looked JUST right for her!
But that was only until she saw...

THIS!
Then it was all over!

She was in that cockpit faster than you could SAY cockpit!
Pullin' the throttle, and pushin' ALL the buttons! The engine
started... the NOISE was incredible ... and security came running!
That was the end of our visit...
NO ELEPHANTS ALLOWED!!!
Oh well... we didn't
really wanna see that museum anyway...

Poem A Day KetchupYesterday's prompt was to write a poem about regret. So here it is! Sorrowful am I That time flies by While I'm on vacation Halfway across the nation Where the hours must be shorter By at least a quarter And yet I am so stubborn And there is no RHYME for stubborn This challenge I will not give up Yup! And though it's not because I'm spiteful This weeks poetry is frightful. Not yours, of course... mine! Because I'm just so behind! Today's prompt is to write about travel.... SHOULD be easy, huh? From Maryland I drove on the wide open road in the pouring down rain past rivers and trains To Wisconsin I went My mind was hell-bent to visit some friends Now our fun never ends But there's simply no time to make silly rhymes There's to much to do with our whole motley crew My time here is shrinking And now I am thinking This poem is done I am off to have fun!!!Labels: Neenah Trip
Neenah - Day 2
Yesterday was a laaate starting day! Mom slept until 10:30 when I WOKE her to get us on with our day! By the time I got us together and out the door, and then stopped at the grocery store on the way over, we didn't get to the Linna's until 12:30!!! And we MISSED out free breakfast at the hotel! LOL! BUT... John and Betty were working on Saffron Buns to sell at Nancy's in Pigeon Falls... and I couldn't WAIT to taste one!!!

When I got there the dough was ALMOST done rising!
Boy it smells good even before it's cooking! And isn't it
a beautiful yellow?

Then Betty had to punch it down, and work
some more flour into it ...
while Dr. John told her how to do it!

When it was finally (he says ALMOST) right
they started shaping it into the rolls.

Dr. John says he just makes ONE design!
(the easy one, of course!)

Betty was working on all kinds of shapes.
I learned more about saffron and saffron BUNS than I ever knew it was possible to know! And I'm not even going to TELL you how much saffron costs -- but these little rolls would sell for about $20 a piece on the black market!!! It's crazy! NEXT time you go to the grocery store, look in the spice section and see if your store sells saffron. Then ask yourself how much do you have to put into a batch or buns? The whole jar goes into a HALF batch! But look how much is ACTUALLY in that jar! It is really nuts!

So here's one tray of them almost ready to go into the oven.

Betty spoon brushes them with egg - it's what ya
do when your pastry brush goes AWOL!

And IN to the oven they go!

And OUT of the oven they come!!!
Smelling like... like... I dunno... YUM!!!
And they were!
They REALLY were!
I can't wait to visit Nancy's shop and have another one!

Mom thought they were pretty good too!
Ok! I'm bushed and going to bed - but this gives you something to read in the morning! Come back later in the day and I'll tell ya about the rest of our day ... yesterday!

Neenah - Day One!
So far, my time in Neenah has been everything I had hoped for! And more! (we're working on forgetting about SOME of that more - but more is more... what can I say!) Mom & I had great breakfast in the hotel restaurant and then went for a very brief walk around the little riverwalk park across the street from our hotel. It was rather brisk out, so we didn't walk to much!

Mom really should have had her jacket on rather than just
a sweatshirt. I was fine in just my t-shirt - but she gets
cold a lot easier. When we left the riverwalk it was TIME!
We were on our way to meet...

Dr. John and Betty!!!
Ta DA!
Betty met me in the driveway and we hugged of course! She is the LITTLEST thing! She is even shorter than MOM! And what a doll! Just so sweet! Then we went in the house and I finally got to MEET Dr. John! Yep - I hugged him good and proper too! Oh he complained - of course he did! But I told him if he kept it up I'd do it again!
I also got to meet Maggie. I didn't take a picture of Maggie... darn I should have... I will... She is a darling bouncy puppy of an English Springer Spaniel - I thought cocker - but I was WRONG! But she's only 2 years old - and she has just as much energy as a two year old! She wants to play and be loved on all day long! Really cute! A little too wild for Mom though, and sadly had to spend the majority of the day in her crate. :(
I got to their house about 10ish I guess... and yakked and yakked and yakked straight through until we decided to go get some lunch where we continued yakking and then went back to the house to re-teach me how to play Canasta! I picked it back up very quickly. I do think they play by some different rules than what I used to play - but they said they were teaching me to play cut-throat --- and I know I had not played that before. But I loved it! I really DO love to play cards - so it was great!

Here the good doctor and Betty were TROUNCING me!
But I did win the 2nd one!
(I'm not convinced that Dr. John wasn't giving me favors
though as a newcomer back to the game... tomorrow might
be another story!) lol!
Penny came home about 6:30 - but had to run back out to Flock people's yards with Flamingoes for church. She asked if I would still be there when she got back - and in all honesty I had thought I'd leave before Dr. John got into his evening routine - but they said no - so I stayed - and Betty, Penny & I played another game of canasta when Penny came home. It's been sO long since I played that much cards that my hands were cramping up from holding the cards!!! That is NOT fair! Who'da ever thunk you would lose your card holding muscles??? ROFL! I guess they'll get a workout this week though! I really apologize, because I didn't get home until after midnight.... I have not been around to visit... perhaps in the morning I can do some...
Right now off the top of my sleepy punkin' head, I need a "work" related poem for that PAD project... OY! How's this....
I hate work.
I'd rather watch mom.
I said that?
What a pitiful excuse for poetry....

Morning Update...
I got GOOD sleep last night! Mom talked almost all night. The blue pills are VERY strong - but they also make her hallucinate. That's why I don't like to overdo them! But last night I just had to. She and I both just got up, and I will be able to get a shower thanks to the tied door. Then we will go down and get our FREE (included in the cost of the room) breakfast and go see Dr. John & Betty. Mom is HAPPY this morning... and that means I am happy this morning! It's GOING to be a gOOd day! I'll be be back tonight and will visit then! Thank you SO much for ALL the prayers and good wishes!!! I appreciate them more than you will know!

Just Ooooone Little Snafu.... Okay maybe two....

Just what you DON'T wanna see in your rear view mirror...
Is it too LATE for Ruby Tuesday???
He had me dead to rights!
And it hurt...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ugh! I was in the middle of writing the rest of my day today which was aggravating ... but had some good moments too... Mom & I stopped in Chicago to look around the city a bit... and the funny part was Mom in the revolving doors! It was crazy! She kept trying to CLOSE them when she came out! And she kept trying to pull them instead of push! It really was hysterical... she was laughing too....
... but after I got here (to Neenah) and called Dr. John... then it ALL fell apart! Mom hadbeen living in the 60's most of the day today. She kept looking for her little children. If she was in the front seat, she thought they were in the back seat, and if she was in the back seat then she thought they were in the McDonald's bag or the Harley Davidson bag, or, of course - the front seat! I ended up having to pull over on the side of the road to put her in the back seat anyway because she kept grabbing things in the car and shifting things around - taking the drinks OUT of the cup holders and trying to balance them on the console... Then she started grabbing my directions insisting they were a perscription for her meds that I was trying to keep from her. It was just different stuff all day - you can't possibly keep track of it all! But tonight at the hotel was the worst! She keeps trying to leave the room -- she believes George & Dennis are IN the building somewhere and she wants to find them. Then she wants to go cook something --- she has not cooked in YEARS - but today she was feeling very domestic! She wanted to take care of her babies and cook for the family. Then she started asking about dinner for "daddy" - turns out HER daddy - and she was greatly insulted when I ASKED if we were talking about her father, Charles or Dennis. She said "I DON'T call Charles daddy!" But the problem is not in anything she SAYS --- I can handle anything spoken! The PROBLEM is the getting out of the room - and nightmares of last night! She has snuck out of the room while I was going to the bathroom I found her down at the elevator lobby. She couldn't figure out how to make it work, and while I was arguing with her to come back to the room, the elevator opened and she went in and started pushing buttons! I grabbed the door, and her, and had to wrestle her back to the room. She's little - but she's fiesty! When Igot her back the room she was kicking me and pinching me and slapping me! I slapped her back.... Then I through her down on the bed and physically restrained her until I could get her calmed down enough to quit hitting me and kicking me. And all the while I'm just wondering WHAT IN THE WORLD AM I GOING TO DO???? I had talked to the front desk when I first got here - and they were going to send security out to get a motion detector for the door - it would set of an alarm if the door moved during the night. But that will still only keep me up fighting her all night. So I looked at the set up and thought a small chain with a pad lock might work. We had to go out to get bandaids anyway -- Mom is a bloody MESS! Honestly - her skin is PAPER thin and rips so easily -- she bruises constantly! And I was NOT holding her gently! I was fighting her! It was crazy! So we went and got the bandaids --- and I found chains - but if they were small enough to let the door still close, then they were also too small for the pad lock to fit through - even the tiniest pad lock. So in a moment of GENIUS - I think God helped - I thought of electrical ties - or cable ties! I bought a pack of them and a scissor so I can cut them off quickly -- and they work like a champ!!! I hope! When she's determined, who knows.... but if they keep her in the room, I'll put my earplugs in and she can have at that door ALL NIGHT if she wants to! At one point when I was holding her down she threatened to call the police on me. If she knew how, I probably would have let her! They would have taken her away to the psych floor! Instead I just called Dennis crying.... *SOB* I made Mom a bloody mess!
WHAT!? That poor man.... he's a thousand miles away ... what the heck is HE supposed to do??? He talked to her... she did settle down some... If this all sounds disjointed and fragmented - just imagine what it was like on MY end! Right now, she has had a total of 5 brown pills and two blue pills -- and she's talking and telling stories and laughing in her sleep! I think I should take a couple of blue pills myself!!!
I am realllllllllllllllllllllly looking forward to seeing Dr. John and Betty tomorrow! And he told me this evening that on Saturday we are all going to Green Bay! YAY! To a TRAIN expo! Awwwww.... Dennis would like that...
I understand I am supposed to write a Haiku today.
Here it is...
Sometimes some days
Are better spent in bed
This one should have
